Our pork comes from the Schweine Plus health program by SUISAG, which places animal health, as well as the quality and sustainability of Swiss pork, at its core.

A visit to the idyllic farm of Bruno Vollenweider offers a striking insight into how seriously and professionally animal welfare is practiced here every day. Together with Lucas Oechslin, co-owner of LUMA, the passionate breeder and farmer shows us the world from which we source our hand-selected Swiss Pork.

The animals enjoy constant outdoor access and more space than in conventional barns. In addition, the feed Vollenweider uses for his pigs comes “exclusively from Swiss mills,” the Aargau-based farmer proudly notes. This is Swissness that goes far beyond just a label.
