Swiss Black Angus

The Swiss Black Angus label stands for premium-quality beef from Angus cattle raised in Swiss suckler cow husbandry. Certified by the Swiss Association of Integrated Farmers (IP-Suisse), it guarantees a highly limited selection and represents top-level meat quality, animal welfare, biodiversity, and sustainability.

The meat of the Black Angus breed is finely textured, tender, and beautifully marbled. Tommi and Annette Rieder breed this cattle on their Hoggen farm in Reigoldswil, in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, following the guidelines of IP-Suisse. Respect for the animals and species-appropriate husbandry are top priorities for the Rieder family. When spring begins, the grazing season starts as well, and the cattle remain on pasture day and night. They only return to the barn when the weather becomes too unpredictable. By late autumn, the animals are back in the barn.

Together with our partner LUMA Delikatessen, we offer our guests and customers the finest and most exclusive cuts of beef.
